This past weekend here in Texas, there was a drift clinic held by Drift Alliance members, Ryan Tuerck and Tony Angelo, at the Mineral Wells Airport. This was a two day event where drivers could seek guidance from the professionals and gain knowledge and skill, as well as get a chance to tandem the course with them. Aaron Losey of Fabricated Motorsports coordinated this event and made arrangements to get the pros down here and it made for an awesome weekend.

In preparation for the Lone Star Drift “The Series”, here is a video from the Fabricated Motorsports Tech Day over at Power Fab Auto where you can watch the cars being dyno’d, a little drift action, and get a chance to get to know some of the drivers!

Since my move to Texas, it’s primarily been a depressing, boring stay here. Cows across the street, rednecks in retarded trucks, and horrendous thick southern accents. Luckily the Texas drift scene and the friends I’ve made while attending events have been my saving grace.
