Last night I had the chance to meet up with Joe to shoot his beautiful, freshly sprayed king ranch edition red MKIV. I wasn’t able to get much info on the car but what I did gather was that all the work was done by Joe himself. Joe is a full time body and paint man, which can make things a whole hell of a lot easier on yourself and your wallet. The hard work Joe put in on this car defiantly shows inside and out. Joe also told me that he has a full king ranch edition interior in the works. When all is said and done the car will be even more dope than it already appears!

Last summer I had made a post about Ian Stewart’s (powdub) GLI and his US OEM+ style. This summer he has come back with that same OEM+ style but from more of a “European” perspective I guess you could say. Last year he was rocking a set of OEM CC wheels, and has now switched it up to a set of A8 winterfelgen 10 slots. Ian has also swapped out the stock trunk lid with an OEM euro trunk lid. If that isnt enough to love this car, Ian is still one of the last few dude’s to keep it real in the static game.

Car last Summer.
Car this summer.
Jon Stairs of Gengstout has been one of the coolest dudes I’ve met on vortex. His knowledge for airride is something I find myself always tapping into him for. Kudos to him for keeping the scene chill and not crying about replicas or other peoples worthless ideas. People who carve their own lane and are comfortable with it is what every car community needs. Looking forward to what else he has in store for his Mk4…

Mike’s back with a new camera and new photos to show for it! I’m not sure I’ll ever see the day where this R32 is ever topped.
Simplicity is my weakness. There’s just something about a clean, well fitted car that I love. The fact that it has a clean flat job, lays frame, and actually gets used is just an added bonus.
DeHate took his car to Stephen Blair over at Madwraps, an Orlando based company, to add his signature touch to the car by applying the new vinyl wrap you see in the photo below. If you’re a Florida local, you can contact Madwraps here. I’ll be checking back in with DeHate’s car after it’s 100% complete. If you’d also like to track any progress, check out Jonathan DeHate’s flickr page.
