Waterfest is the largest VW/Audi Car Show and Motorsport event in North America, and the second largest of its kind in the world. Waterfest, now in its 17th year is a two-day event held at the world-class Raceway Park facility in Englishtown, New Jersey.
Waterfest is known as the hottest show of the year because of the cars and well the temperature usually breaks 100° with no cloud coverage or we see torrential downpours. This year the temperatures were only in the low 90′s, but with no cloud coverage it probably felt like the surface of the sun out at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. One of our photographers, Matt Donders, was there bearing the heat on Sunday to take cover the show for us. Check out his coverage below!
Coming soon, an exclusive feature on this frankentruck. Kevin’s Skyline RB25DET powered, Camaro front-ended, chopped & sectioned project S-10 is sure to drops jaws. It’s far from completed but check back soon for a peek into it’s current state.

Round 2 of the Lone Star Series is now in the books as it wrapped up a few weeks ago out in Mineral Wells, TX. With temperatures reaching over 100º and no shelter in site, it was a treacherous day for the media crew that was in attendance. Sy Pham and Nathan Leonard [of Good Time Lab], Cody Slack [of Apex US Blog], and myself all stood (and sometimes sat) in the middle of the track in the sweltering heat for hours all for the opportunity to get close to the action in hopes of producing some awesome results.
After somewhat fixing my broken weather stripping around my sunroof on the Skyline, I arrived at the Mineral Wells Airport anxious to begin the day. I met up with Sy and Nathan, borrowed Aaron Losey’s camera, and headed out to the center of the track where a low speed s-turn allowed us to be close to the action without sacrificing safety.
Houston, TX based shop, Non Stop Tuning, was out in full force promoting their sponsored drivers as well as their products.
The first half of the day was dedicated to practicing, and for those drivers not competing in the competition. Here, XDC Champion and 2nd Place Round 1 finisher, Chelsea DeNofa, is piloting his borrowed car for the day, Aaron Losey’s LS1 powered S13, during the practice session.
Saw these photos on SouthrnFresh and had to reblog them in case you haven’t seen them. I’m not sure on the info on this Camaro, but check their website for more information.

Yesterday I got the chance to go out to Cult Classic for the first time located in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania. Cult Classic is a small scale show that is very laid back and well organized. Here are the shots I got from the show, enjoy!

Last night I had the chance to meet up with Dan to shoot his Sage green 4 door MKV rabbit. The car sits on color matched Image wheels with gold face bolts, and full Bagyard suspension. The car has a fully shaved front and rear trunk, as well as a very nicely done hardline setup done by Dan himself. Dan also has a once sunglasses holder now turned very clean one off Drew Dorbritz easy street controller holder.
