Last night I met up with Austin to shoot his 1980 Caddy on 15×8 BBS RM’s. It almost seems as if when ever I shoot lately a security guard is always watching me. The past few times I have found a location to shoot as soon as I finish setting all my gear up some mall cop who takes his job way too serious rolls out and tells me to pack it up. After driving around for a little while we settled on this spot.

Jonathan… Well if you know him. It’s Dehate, one of the more popular guys around the VW scene that everyone seems to know or know of. I guess you could consider him an og to the game he’s seen a lot of “trends” come and go. But what I notice with the OG’s to the game is there style choice is timeless in a weather of awkward colored wheels and replica parts. His photography would have to be one of the reasons I’ve even considered picking up a DSLR.

Today I got the chance to go out to Summit point located in WV, to see a small scale pro am drift event. This was my first time ever seeing drifting in person and I was pretty impressed with some of the drivers that competed in today’s event. Although I left before the end of the competition I was able to get these shots.

Yes, you read that right. I first came across Kevin’s insane S-10 a couple years back through mutual friends. Waterfest is the largest VW/Audi Car Show and Motorsport event in North America, and the second largest of its kind in the world. Waterfest, now in its 17th year is a two-day event held at the world-class Raceway Park facility in Englishtown, New Jersey.
