Look up f%&$ing rad in the dictionary…
If it existed, and you were to look up what f%&$ing rad meant in the dictionary, you’d find Mr. Dan Crosley.

I met Dan at H2O in 2008 for all of a minute or so outside the Spinnaker when he pulled up to talk to Mike Simonds. When I saw his wagon I had no idea what it really was, other than a Passat. Syncro? Sure?! Low as balls? Absolutely! After H2O I found his Flickr account and kept tabs on what he was shooting. I met up with him at Dubs on Defrost 2 back in April and took a few shots. I started hanging out with him a bit more on the regular and he explained to me(someone who refused to acknowledge VW made anything before the MKV*for you interweb newbs who can’t tell sarcasm, that was sarcasm*) why the old school route was so appealing. He told me about his days bopping around in his MK1 and loving it to bits. He enlightened me on what was so different about his Passat. He shared some of his photog secrets and invited me out to a few shoots after he picked up his Alien Bees. He shared some of his quality hip hop(K-Otix, Sandpeople, One Be Lo, Jedi Mind Tricks and so on…) and expanded my musical tastes beyond your typical alternative/rock/blah blah blah music. I’m going to break it down simply. Dan is the man. Anyone who knows him, can attest. Hands down, one of the nicest and most down to earth people you’ll ever meet in the VW scene. He just purchased a house and is in the midst of taking care of all the paper work. A stressful venture for anyone who has done it before. But it’s one that’ll be worth it in the end. Congrats Dan! Take a second to check out some of his work:
