After some delay, for whatever reason, I was able to get January’s PVW issue. Only a few weeks late in store, not too shabby. This issue has some significance to myself, as well as WFSU.

This issue marks a year since WFSU’s group feature in the mag. Something as a group we were and continue to be proud of, especially seeing it was just about a year prior to the feature that WFSU was established. And unfortunately I can’t say the rest of ’09 was a good year for myself, or at least as good as ’08 was leading up to the feature.

Also it was only after flipping through the mag that I realized it was 5 years ago January that I bought one of my first and also my favorite PVW issues. The issue featured Dan Koenig’s killer Mk1, which was a big influence on how I thought about VW’s.

After a disappointing year for myself. To put it simply, shit didn’t go right. I have some optimistic goals for myself and my Rabbit this year. Look for a post on it in the next few weeks.
